The Consultants-E own and run three private island simulators in Second Life [ find out more about SL here... ] dedicated to education, research, training, distance and blended learning and development. Find out about the different spaces below...

EduNation I
The original island, now home to a collective of e-learning and teaching consultants and organisations. There are currently five available rental plots on this island. Alongside renting a plot, you will also get access to the entire EduNation II private island sim with a variety of teaching environments. This island can be closed for private events and training on request.

EduNation II
This set of mini-islands features seminar, powerpoint, audio and videocast facilities, various different teaching environments, a podcast and rss space, an educational project gallery and a sandbox for building projects. Use of the seminar facilities is free subject to availability.

EduNation III
The island is divided into 22 plots of 2048 square metres each, all available for rent. There are plenty of rental spaces still available on this new island. More details from Dudeney Ge in-world.

How do I find the EduNation islands?
Either search for 'EduNation' using the Second Life Search option, or follow one of these SLurls (requires Second Life to be installed):

• Visit EduNation I for educator land rentals
• Visit EduNation II for seminar and conference facilities
• Visit EduNation III for organisation and college rentals

Some facts about Second Life...
