Each of these practical, hands-on 10-hour short courses focuses on one Web 2.0 tool.
Blogs: This short online course looks at teacher, students and class blogs, and how they can be used by teachers both in and outside the classroom with learners. We also examine RSS (Really Simple Syndication) and learn how to use this to subscribe to blogs. You will set up a blog during the course.
eNetworks: This course is for educators interested in learning how to set up online communities, and online training events or conferences. You will set up an action plan for an online event or conference during the course.
Podcasts: This course looks at how podcasting works, how it can help students learn, and what teacher needs to know and do to use audio podcasts with learners. You will create our own podcasts during the course using free web-based podcasting software.
Wikis: This course looks at wikis, how to set them up, and how they can be used for collaborative projects with learners. You will create our own wiki during the course using free web-based wiki software.
