End February events

Live near Berlin? On Saturday 20th February, Nicky will be in Berlin giving a workshop on “Going Mobile” for ELTABB.

During this hands-on workshop you and Nicky will look at a number of classroom activities using mobile devices, and examine how these can cross the boundaries between school and the outside world. You will examine the choices and challenges involved in using mobile devices with learners in class, and suggest a rationale and framework for choosing and sequencing mobile-based activities with your learners. You will leave this workshop with a clear idea of the choices involved in teaching with mobile devices, as well as an awareness of how to deal with the challenges. You will also know how to start implementing mobile-based activities with your own classes and/or across your institution. Remember to bring a mobile device (phone or tablet) with you to the workshop!

Later in the day Nicky will also be leading a panel discussion.

BUT…not only will you be able to attend the training, you will also get a chance to win the FANTASTIC prize of a FREE place on The Consultants-E’s E-Moderation course.

This event is free for ELTABB members and €10 for visitors. You can find more information here. http://traintodo.com/eltabb
